So Very True!!!!

I hope my children look back on today,
And see a mother who had time to play.
There will be years for cleaning and cooking,
for children grow up while we are not looking.

Aquarium!!

Today was Marley's first trip to the South Carolina Aquarium!! She had so much fun, she would run to every single tank/exibit and squeel in delight (: It was so much fun, we'll be going back soon, that's for sure
Outside the aquarium. It's right on the Charleston Harbor and the view is AMAZING!

Of course we had to get a little sliding time in

Carolina Girls, Best in the World!!!!

Checking out all the big fish... and I do mean BIG! The teeny-tiny sea turtle. Marley LOVED him

Ohhhhhhh!

Playing in the Shrimping Boat

The aquarium had different sections filled with animals from each region of SC, it was really cool!

I see you, Marley!

Yeah, you just wish you were this cool (:

You talkin to ME?!

I have NO idea where she got her attitude from... Not me, I'm just the epitome of sweetness... (: OK, so maybe I do know where she got it from, but she sure makes attitude look good!
Oh, and you see that Elmo sticker on her shirt? Well, this morning Miss Marley woke up with a DRY diaper and told me she needed to go potty!!!! She's never been dry in the morning, so this was a huge deal, she got a super cool Elmo sticker and an Oreo stix thingy... Yup, breakfast of champions at our house, let me tell you... (:

Introducing...

Liddell!!!! My sister got a boxer puppy! (we're huge boxer fans, anyone thinking of getting a dog should seriously look into boxers, you couldn't ask for a better pet and friend) She's 7 weeks old and is named after the UFC fighter, Chuck Liddell... Don't ask, my sister is obsessed with UFC, I, on the other hand think it's horrible and mean and it makes me want to cry lol. But hey, to each their own I suppose. Anyways, here's a picture of sweet Delly Belly, please excuse me in the picture, I've been sick these last few days so I've taken up residence on the couch (:

Wonderful Day

Today was such an awesome day! This morning when Marley first saw her Easter basket she kind of just looked at it with a big goofy grin on her face, like she was thinking "this is for me?!" Of course the bubbles were the biggest hit, but I knew that would be the case. (: We had yummy Easter dinner, and I tell you what, this child can eat some collards! LOL maybe it's a Southern thing, I was talking to my friend from OH and she didn't even know what they were. Besides the collards we had homemade mac&cheese, green beans, ham, and potato salad. It was all so good, but my mom and grandma were the cooks, so it couldn't have been anything but amazing. (:

After dinner we hid eggs in the backyard for Marley to find. I didn't really expect her to be that interested, (or that good lol) but she totally rocked it and found all the eggs like a pro. We actually had to do two seperate hunts because she loved it so much! The rest of the day we spent lounging around coloring in the new coloring books and feasting on m&m's. Oh how I love holidays (:

Hippity-Hoppity

Tomorrow's Easter! I really love this holiday, it's like a mini Springtime Christmas lol. As you can see, Marley's getting tons of goodies from the Easter Bunny. There are yummy cookies, M&M's, Dora cups, coloring pad, and candy, a new hat for the pool, and an Elmo potty coloring book and new crayons! Oh and you can't forget the bubbles, she's crazy about them (:

Toy Town

Marley's been using the recliner as her slide, and I'm just too nervous for that. So today we went and got an actual slide for her. And do you know where it is? Is it outside in the beautiful sunshine where she can enjoy the great outdoors? Nope. It's in the middle of my living room floor of course!

Why is it inside you ask? Well, because I can't walk outside without being blasted in the face with pollen and sneezing for the next 30 minutes. Even with allergy medicine, I'm still a big, red, puffy, sneezy, yucky mess. So the slide is in the living room, along with every other toy known to man. (:

Here's a picture of my living room. Notice the kitchen in the corner, and the fact that you have to climb over a stroller/highchair/table/car to sit on the couches. Oh well, she's happy, and that makes me happy, too. (:
