Marley came home from daycare today with a fever of 102.8!!!! Even being a little under the weather didn't stop her from discovering a new...errr...toy? piece of clothing? mixing bowl? Whatever, call it what you want, she loves it.

Sickies
Oh what a day it's been. Marley woke up this morning with a horrible runny nose and cough, so we both stayed home from school and took it easy. We curled up in a chair and "cuggled" (cuddled for those of you who don't speak Toddler) and read her Curious George book about 4billion times. After nap she seemed to be feeling a lot better, so we went in search of a gym or dance studio who offers classes for 2 year olds. (not many around here, let me tell you!) We did find one gym that has a Mommy & Me class, and I want to go to one more dance studio, then make a final decision on what we want to do and where we want to go.
This pic was taken tonight after I tried to take the paci out of her mouth to get a picture... Remind me not to do that again!!!!

Chair
Ahh, the infamous pink chair. Who would have thought it would be the one thing I've been searching for to hold my daughter's attention for more than 5 minutes. Apparently I was looking in the wrong section of the stores, her favorite thing wouldn't be among the toys, it would be with the furniture... The day we brought it home she didn't eat her lunch until almost 1:30; (we usually have lunch around noon) not because she wasn't hungry, but because that meant she had to get out of the "pink dare". I'd tell her it was time to eat and she'd get up and take two steps before realizing she was out of the chair. Then she'd get this look of panic and bolt back to it as fast as she could. And when we leave the house we have to say "bye bye pink chair, see you later"... So thank you, Gaboo for this awesome gift, Marley L.O.V.E.S it (:2.04.2009
Emotional
With Marley's 2nd birthday a little over a month away I'm really beginning to see just how fast time flies. It seems like I'm taking this birthday a lot harder than I did her 1st, maybe because 2 just seems so big to me! This time last year she was still very much a baby, and now I just can't believe the beautiful little person she's becoming.
I've decided on her "theme" for her party, and I can't wait to start getting things for it. I'm really excited about how it will turn out, I just hope I can get the cake right lol. Now if I could only decide on a present then everything would be perfect!
Now here are some pictures from her 1st birthday just to show how much she's grown up over the past year!

Bubbles
Today Marley, Amanda, and I went to Target to look for cake pans for Marley's birthday party. They didn't have the ones I was looking for, but we did find a Bubble Machine! So we pay for the toy and decide to go walk around the mall for a bit... Big mistake! First off, the dang bubble thing weighs at least 5 pounds, not to mention the HUGE jug of bubbles we got to go with it. So we're lugging around all this stuff when Marley spots the Merry-Go-Round...Greaaat... She rides one ride (the thing seriously lasts 5 friggin minutes btw) and by then Amanda and I are ready to go, so I pick Marley up and I swear to you, people probably thought I was trying to kidnap her the way she screamed and cried to get down. We were quite a site, just imagine me holding a VERY upset little girl who is by now not only screaming but also kicking and flailing to get down and get back on the Merry-Go-Round, and then Amanda hauling this massive bubble machine and enough bubbles to last all summer.
