the princess on her throne

I'm positive she'll hate me for this when she's older... But damn she's cute!

Chuck-E-Cheese

Today Ashley and I took the kids to Chuck-E-Cheese. We got there a little after 9, which is when they open, and we had the place to ourselves for about an hour! And by the time we left there were only a handful of other kids there, and they were all around Jacob and Marley's age, so this was the perfect time of day to go!
Marley on a roller-coaster ride, and Jacob trying to get in, too
Hello? Chuckie?
Taking a Teddy Graham break
This ride was a huge hit!
She's a sliding fool!
Checking out Barney in his sweet ride
Jacob was a little cautious on the slide... lol

What's Better...

Than homemade Playdough on a rainy day? This was Marley's first time playing with it, and she had a blast.

Who Wears Short Shorts?

Marley wears short shorts! (: I forgot how much I love her little leggies in jean shorts. I wish I could say she got those long, skinny legs that go on for days from me!!

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day today. I know I sure did! Yesterday my boyfriend surprised me by taking my car to be cleaned and detailed (oh it needed it lol), and this morning my mom surprised me by coming and taking Marley to breakfast so I could sleep in. (: I also got some yummy candy and a sweet card from my own wonderful Mommy (:

Thursday I got my very first handmade Mother's Day present when I went to pick Marley up from daycare. Let me tell you, I think it's the most beautiful flower I've ever seen in my entire life; and I cried like a baby when I read the poem, lol.
My beautiful card

The sweet poem that made me cry

Sorry the pictures are a little blurry, my camera decided it didn't feel like cooporating, so this is the best I could get. (:

Baby Birds

We have a beautiful Palm tree right outside our front door, and guess what's in it... There are four teeny-tiny little baby birds in there (:

So Very True!!!!

I hope my children look back on today,
And see a mother who had time to play.
There will be years for cleaning and cooking,
for children grow up while we are not looking.
